A lot of what we're dealing with right now is the result of the hang-ups produced by the non-diverse upbringings and backgrounds of the upper classes, who are taking it out on the rest of us who had much more integrated experiences and don't have those same hang-ups.
The reason why so many extremely woke people turn out to have been bigoted in the past is because bigotry used to be the best way to bully and intimidate people, but now performative anti-bigotry is the best way to bully and intimidate people. An evolving toolset for sociopaths.

They always find a way not to deliver. It’s like magic.
White House National Economic Council Director @Brian Deese reiterates VP Harris won't overrule Senate parliamentarian "The Vice President is not going to weigh in." Says, "We'll respect that process"
The strike was defensive in nature, an official said.
The strike was defensive in nature, but was a response to the three attacks endangering Americans in Iraq this month, the official said.
These strikes are unconstitutional and dangerous. There’s no general authority for a president to launch airstrikes, and President Biden hasn’t claimed they were necessary to stop an imminent attack. Our Constitution demands he get approval from the representatives of the people.
The US launched airstrikes in Syria targeting facilities used by Iranian-backed militia groups. The strikes were in retaliation for an attack against US forces in Iraq. http://apne.ws/Fm971In
We ran on ending wars, not escalating conflicts in the Middle East. Our foreign policy needs to be rooted in diplomacy & the rule of law, not retaliatory air strikes without Congressional authorization.

Same in the UK. It's propaganda that literally a 5-year-old could deconstruct if presented with the evidence. It's a testament to our system of indoctrination that you basically can't work in the mainstream media unless you accept this fluorescent bullshit as truth.
How anyone can believe the US is hostile to Assad because he’s a “brutal dictator” — while at the same time embracing regimes in Saudi Arabia, Egypt & UAE, to say nothing of their beloved dictators over decades — is one of those enduring mysteries: a testament to US propaganda.
One of the best analysts of US politics on this site and a great writer as well:

To sum up, we have to bomb targets in Syria without authorization to protect the troops that are in Iraq without authorization in order to pursue an unauthorized anti-ISIS mission that is really just an excuse to keep troops in the country for anti-Iranian reasons.
